This is a well-written, well-thought out defense of anarchism. The author concedes that a good deal of Marx's method is valid, but feels that it needs to be improved upon by the contributions of anarchist thinkers like Peter Kropotkin and Paul Goodman.For some reason, there is little, possibly no, reference to Noam Chomsky--the best known anarchist writer of our time. The book is of interest to people familiar with Trotskyism since the writer used to consider himself a Trotskyist before evolving away from that worldview.
